I have a question. I know I will not be getting more than 2 at the most responses, but I was wondering, do people like the "plot" zorro and esters more, like I have been doing/trying to do recently, what with the SuperScarf Saga and this new storyline that I still can not allow the name to slip, but will be able to soon, OR do they like one day jokes? Or do they the non-sensical comics with that weird guy with the egg that I call Gil?
Comments are helpful. I'm trying to figure out where to go from here and you are the audience. If I lose you, well I'll still do the comic, but have no fans. Not that I have any now, but you know.

I like having a main storyline, with a random "filler" one-day-joke mixed in every so often.
Similar to the way that Ctrl+Alt+Del goes off of their storyline with random gaming or chef humor.
While some comics get away with the random humor every comic (/GU Comics comes to mind) there isn't the same depth of character development that you've achieved.

He stole my response. Generally I think that storylines work better than just random strips.

Really, I think you should just do whatever comes naturally. One of the things I like the most about Zorro and Ester is that it takes lots of random twists and turns. I never know what to expect, and I like that.
I guess the best answer I can give you is this: I truly enjoyed the Gil miniseries you did. In my opinion, that's the best thing you've done yet.

I never said they had personalities... just depth.

The difficulty I have with your comic is that you drop pick up a plot line, run with it for a while and then just drop it again, there is really no general over all flow to your comic. The one lineer comics don't need to flow, but with the super powered scarf, for example, Zorro got it used it for a while and then threw it away, no real how or why or where about it. I'll shut up and get back to work now

actually, amazingly, I am explaining the scarf in the next few comics. Give me time! I have a plan! It may not be the best in the world, but I have thought of things.

OOH! I feel it coming! In the next few comics EVERYTHING WILL BE EXPLAINED! The moment everyone has been waiting for is coming! Everything that has happened in Zorro and Ester EVER is building up to this moment! (Well actually it is building up to number 300, so the next comics will actually be building up too, but there is a great amazing revalation real soon!) So celebrate with me. NOW. And never doubt me again.
